Setup

  • Add your logo and brand colour

Upload a logo and it appears on your invoices, estimates and the pages your customers see. Colour is kept in two places: the colour on the Branding page applies to the customer share pages, while the colour used on invoice and estimate PDFs is a separate setting under Settings, in the PDF templates section — in the mobile app the Branding screen is the one that sets that document colour. If a logo is missing from a PDF, this is the first place to check; it is usually that no logo has been uploaded rather than a fault with the document.

  • Change your own name, password or timezone

Your own profile is separate from the organization settings: your name, contact details and password are all changed from My Profile. Your personal timezone can only be set in the mobile app at the moment — the dashboard shows it but does not offer a field for it, and the timezone under Settings is the organization-wide one, not yours. Timezone matters more than it looks: dates are shown to you in yours, so a document that appears to be dated a day out is usually a timezone set to the wrong region.

  • Invite your team and control what they can see

Admins add members and choose what each person can reach. Permissions are per-area, so someone can be given invoices without being given billing, and reusable permission templates save setting each person up from scratch. Members are never deleted — not by themselves and not by an admin: when someone leaves, an admin sets their account to inactive or suspended, which shuts them out while everything they created stays attached to the records.

  • Set up your business details

Your business name, address, contact details and tax registration appear on every invoice and estimate you send. Fill these in once and every document you create afterwards picks them up. The country and state that a new customer defaults to do not come from here — they come from your organization’s own country and state, chosen when the organization was created.
